Serpentine Reader: Circulation

Serpentine Reader is a new slow publishing project from Serpentine, a leading art gallery. I helped to edit the first issue of the journal – on the theme of Circulation – for digital and print publication.

The Reader’s editor, Hanna Girma, asked me to support her editorial process from first drafts to final publication. I gave structural and detailed feedback on original texts by Gary Zhexi Zhang, Hana Pera Aoake, Tosia Leniarska, Nolan Oswald Dennis, Okwui Okpokwasili, and Aria Dean. Later, I copyedited second and third drafts, and proofread the full final journal in its digital and print formats.
